What We’re Grateful For

Every year around this time, we pause and give thanks for our many opportunities and countless blessings. In our modern-day society, there’s many things to be grateful for whether it be the grand finale of a successful SEC football season, binge-watching the new season of Stranger Things, or even the new iPhone X.

But beyond the hype of retro-inspired television shows, the promise of better, faster, stronger products or the opportunity to best our opponents in a mad-dash for the national championship, there are other things in life worth appreciating, such as our incredibly trusting clients, our network of talented production and creative partners, and our idgroup family.

We asked some members of our team what they were most grateful for this holiday season, and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, here’s what they said:

Mona, Owner & President: “Finally completing my book manuscript—and all the people who have supported this very long journey. My health and the love of my family, the idgroup team, and my friends (both two and four-legged). Last but not least, my grandson Carter’s smile.”

Lindsey, Director of Operations: “I’m thankful for family and friends as well as an opportunity to work with a great company and team!”

Mariah, Content Manager: “Slowing down and prioritizing rest, family and relationships. It’s always a wonderful feeling to pause for a moment and reflect on a year well done and dream of the potential of the year ahead. Always grateful for my loving family, my health, and a job I love.”

Somi, Lead Designer: “Family and people around me who have been there for me this whole year, my healthy, furry kids—Sheba, CC and Razie, and meeting new people, learning new things and exploring new places.”

Gail, Senior Creative: “The love of my late parents—they hung the eye hooks for the moon for me and raised me with unconditional love, values, ethics and lots of discipline. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for your artistic talent too. For my family, beloved husband and best friend, a true gift. For our adopted daughter Coco Chanel—my devoted furry feline companion. To live in the land of the free and home of the brave—to enjoy our diverse landscape and resources. And to work alongside bright, talented people with good hearts.”

Erin, Digital Manager: “This year I’m grateful for change. For new opportunities for myself, my family and friends. For the courage to make leaps of faith and see where life leads us. And as always, for sunsets, adventures, good books and love!”

Danielle, Project Manager: “For a year of wonderful “big life” changes: newly married and joining an amazing team of professionals at idgroup! Also, I’m thankful for family, friends, my four-legged furry children (dogs), and my health.”

Happy Thanksgiving!
